The Inner Kingdom
2 Chronicles 15:2 (Commitment)
2 He went out to meet Asa and said to him, “Listen to me, Asa and all Judah and Benjamin. The Lord is with you when you are with him. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you forsake him, he will forsake you.
Psalm 34:8
“Taste and see that the Lord is good”.
Note: Todays people have No feeling and No taste.
What is the purpose? To enter the Kingdom of God.
Luke 17:20-21
20 Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, “The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, 21 nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is in your midst.”
The kingdom of God is in you. If its not inside of you, you will not go to heaven.
Romans 14:17 (The 3 qualities are righteousness, peace and joy in the kingdom).
The righteous are persecuted.
To get rest we need to be “gentle and humble in the heart”. The only part of the Bible where Jesus said to “learn from Me” was in Matthew 11:29.
Matthew 11:29
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
Psalm 103:20-21
Praise the Lord, you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, who obey his word. Praise the Lord, all his heavenly hosts, you his servants who do his will. (Do the will of God)
Romans 12:2 (how do I know the will of God?)
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Do what pleases God)
Ephesians 5:10
and find out what pleases the Lord.
Psalm 143:10
Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God;
may your good Spirit
lead me on level ground.
Psalm 19: 7-9
The law of the Lord is perfect,
refreshing the soul.
The statutes of the Lord are trustworthy,
making wise the simple.
The precepts of the Lord are right,
giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the Lord are radiant,
giving light to the eyes.
The fear of the Lord is pure,
enduring forever.
The decrees of the Lord are firm,
and all of them are righteous.
Don’t run here and there, because the Kingdom is in you. Be still and know that I am God. Righteousness, peace and joy will be inside of you because you are kingdom minded. When the kingdom of God is in you, you cannot be deceived.
Luke 17:23
People will tell you, ‘There he is!’ or ‘Here he is!’ Do not go running off after them.
Matthew 24: 26-27
“So if anyone tells you, ‘There he is, out in the wilderness,’ do not go out; or, ‘Here he is, in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. 27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. (Because in the 2nd coming, Christ will not come to the earth).
1 Tess 4:16-17
16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. (We will be meeting Him in the clouds, not in the earth).
Matthew 24:24-25
24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
25 See, I have told you ahead of time.
Luke 17:26-29
26 “Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. 27 People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all. (They did not have feeling of anything and the flood came and took them).
28 “It was the same in the days of Lot. People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building. 29 But the day Lot left Sodom, fire and sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. (Lot’s wife looked back looking at the nice house, building, etc. The things that matter are the things that are not of the earth).
When Creation started it has been 6,021 years.
Conscious Years = Conscious that Jesus was coming. (1st 2,000 years)
Judgement Year = Jesus came and so many judgements happened. (2,000 More Years)
Last 2,000 years = the grace period.
2 Peter 3:9 (God is delaying these 21 years for everyone to repent)
9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
We are preparing to meet evil face to face. We will be tested.
Acts 1:11
11 “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.” (HE IS COMING THE SAME WAY)
Revelation 1:7
“Look, he is coming with the clouds,”
and “every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him”;
and all peoples on earth “will mourn because of him.”
So shall it be! Amen.
