THE DILIGENCE OF PEACE

1 Tess 5:23-24

Now may the God of peace himself sanctify you completely, and may your whole spirit and soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. 24 He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it.

Note: If you are in peace, the God of peace will sanctify you. God will preserve you in body, soul and spirit until the coming of the Lord.

Hebrews 13:20-21

Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.

Note: Peace means not getting in a squabble with people. Peace is where the kingdom of God is and where the spiritual abides. Now, Proverbs talks a lot about being diligent!

So, Why be diligent??! Because the enemy is always trying to get us out of peace. Where there’s Strife, there is every evil work. Stay in Peace!

James 3:16-18

For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

1 Tess 5:23

May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 14:17

for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

Romans 16:19-20

Be excellent in what is good and innocent in what is evil and the God of peace will soon crush satans head under your feet. (It has nothing to do with yelling at demons).

Philippians 2:14-15

Do everything without grumbling or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation. ”Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky

Note: Complaining is not a little sin. Is a big sin. Complaining kept the israelites out of the promised land (is a sign of ingratitude and self-centeredness).

1 Tess 5:17-19 is what we should do.

pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit.

Declaration of Prayer

I refuse to be anxious. I refuse to have fear. The kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy. I choose peace.

No matter what happens. Whether I’m healed or not, I’m going to stay in peace because your kingdom is peace. I accept your will in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.
