UNDERSTANDING WHAT GOD DESIRES

1 Corinthians 14:1

Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy.

Hosea 6:3

Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the LORD. His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter and former rain to the earth.

Note:

Pursue love and pursue the knowledge of the Lord.

Hosea 6:3

Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the LORD. His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter and former rain to the earth.

Note:

I will come to my people like the rain- The hydro cycle is How the Lord goes forth and how he manifests. The water is the word of God.

Isaiah 59:14

Justice is turned back, And righteousness stands afar off; For truth is fallen in the street, And equity cannot enter.

Note: Truth has fallen because when the word falls in the streets it’s because you ignore it. True prayer is finding out what Gods word is and what Gods will is, believing it and speaking it back up to heaven. Just like the hydro cycle, He sends back down the very word we prayed up but this time it comes down with power, glory and full of the Holy Spirit and that word fulfills the word of God that we prayed.

2 Chronicles 5:13-14

indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the Lord, saying:

For He is good,
For His mercy endures forever,”

that the house, the house of the Lord, was filled with a cloud, so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the Lord filled the house of God.

Note:

If there’s a little evaporation, it’s going to take a long time for a cloud to form. But if there is a lot of water going up, you are going to have a storm. The “people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” of how to pray (Hosea 4:6) not for lack of praying.

In Luke 1:26-35 God sent the word to Mary. To birth His Son in Mary just as He wants Christ to be formed in us. The angel said: “Don’t fear, you have found favor in the eyes of God”.

Matthew 13:5

Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth; and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth.

Matthew 17:5

While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them; and suddenly a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Hear Him!

Note: He came in a cloud in the mount of transfiguration. Mary said- be it done to me according to your word (this is the evaporation that goes up!!). In Isaiah 55:10 it says that the word of God comes from heaven like the rain.

Isaiah 55:10

“For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, And do not return there, But water the earth, And make it bring forth and bud, That it may give seed to the sower And bread to the eater,”

Galatians 1:12

For I neither received it from man, nor was I taught it, but it came through the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Note: Paul said: “I got my gospel directly from the Lord”. The apostolic prayers are the desire of God.

Example: “That your hearts would be knit together in love” (prayer) (this is God’s heart).

Colossians 2:2

That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;

1 John 4:12

“If we love one another God dwells among us”.

Note: Having Offense, grudges and unresolved issues keeps the fullness of God out of our families and out of our church.

Colossians 4:12 (Bond servant)

Epaphras, who is one of you, a bondservant of Christ, greets you, always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.

Note: Any church that does not pursue becoming a house of prayer is a den of thieves because we are robbing the people of their inheritance in Christ.

Colossians 1: 9-11

For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

Note: Sometimes His assignment changes in season. Ask for all knowledge understanding and wisdom of His will in this specific time. What is pleasing look like? To be fruitful in every good work (that is assigned to me). When the Lord makes it known to me, now I have the ability to say NO to all the things I’m not called to do. Increasing in the knowledge of God is the experience of His presence. (Find His will, be as obedient as you can, and there will be an increase of the experiential knowledge of God).

Pray Colossians 1: 9-11 if you want to get closer to God!

Psalm 139:16 (My life is written).

Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.

Jeremiah 20:9

Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, Nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire Shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, And I could not.

Note: The word of God is like fire shut up in my bones. Daniel found the prophetic promise in the book of Jeremiah (Daniel 9:2-3) (that after 70 years, their captivity would be up). Praying The word of God cuts the heavenlies, we have to persevere in prayer to out-persevere the devil.

Daniel 10:12-13

Then he said to me, “Do not fear, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand, and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard; and I have come because of your words. But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; and behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left alone there with the kings of Persia.

Note: “I’ve come because of your words” (He took the word of God and prayed it back to God). Since the first day, your prayer was heard but there was demonic resistance until Michael came. Our prayers arm the angels. Daniel means “oh greatly beloved”.

Isaiah 55: 6, 10-11

6 Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near.

10-11 As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

Note: Seeking the Lord and Calling upon His name (That is evaporation), then His word will go forth and will accomplish what It’s sent to do. In 1 Samuel, Elkanah had two wives. Peninnah had children and Hannah did not. Elkanah is a type of Christ. The wives are 2 types of Christians.

Types of Christians:

  • 5,000 – They are the bread eaters. They were the people who crossed over the water to find out where Jesus was and Jesus said “You are coming because of the bread”. They are blessing seekers only.
  • 72 – They were anointed and went out two by two and served the Lord. (Read Luke 10).
  • 7 – They served God.
  • 12 – Are the disciples that followed Him day and night wherever He went.
  • 3 – Peter, James and John. They are whom He took to the mount of transfiguration and to raise the dead.
  • 1 – John (was the closest to the heart of Jesus). This is the disciple whom Jesus loved.

Note: Wherever we fall in there is up to us. We are as close to God as we want to be. Peninnah is the average run of the mill Christian. She can have children. That type of Christian goes to church once a week. Hannah is the picture of the bride. That type of Christian is the overcomer. In Revelation 2 and 3, Jesus addresses all 7 churches. 5 of them had to be corrected. 2 didn’t. One of them were already overcomers through martyrdom. The Philadelphia church were overcomers through faithfulness. (Read Revelation 2 and 3).

The Issues of the churches that were corrected were the following:

  1. Drifting from their first love.
  2. Allowing compromise.
  3. Being lukewarm.

Note: Jesus gave counseling. He said where they were wrong and falling short. Then He gave them a promise. The promises are the following:

  1. “If you overcome, I will give you a white stone with a new name”. A white stone is innocent to sin. New name means character nature. (Meaning: Ill wash your sins away and transform you).
  2. “I’ll give you hidden manna” (Meaning: that’s revelation that another church doesn’t get).
  3. “I’ll give you the bright mornings”. (Meaning: The morning star is Him).
  4. “If you overcome, you will sit with me on my throne”.

Note: There are levels in the heavens. There is a multitude in front of the throne. John was asked: Who are these? But he did not know. These are those who came through the great tribulation from every tribe, every nation, every tongue, and they made their robes white. They were standing before the throne. There is another company of believers who are sitting with the Lord on the throne. How we walk with God now affects eternity!

In 1 Samuel 1:1-7, his sons were corrupt. To Hannah he gave a double portion because He loved her. God loves everybody, but…He LOVES those whom seek Him.

Proverbs 8:17

I love those who love me, And those who seek me diligently will find me.

Peninnah provoked Hannah – this is the church of pride and competition (Example: “my ministry” “look at me” attitude).

Hannah – the Lord closed her womb. She wept with bitterness of heart. Then her prayer gets answered after she makes the Nazirite vow. In her prayer, she asked God for a son and in return she vowed to give the son back to God for the service of God. She promised he would remain a Nazarite all the days of his life. “Nazirite” comes from the Hebrew nazir, meaning to separate or consecrate. (Read 1 Samuel 1: 12-17)

Note: Eli shows the condition of the leadership. He did not have discernment. She was in bitterness of soul and then she said, “I’ve poured out my soul”. (She is giving God a bitter drink offering- her soul). Revival is one of the prostituted words in the church. Everybody wants revival to make them look good.

Note To Parents: Do not fall into the deception when your kid says, “I don’t want to go to church”. You are the parent. Do not submit to your children. They submit to you, that is why you are the parent. They don’t know what is good for them.

1 Samuel 2:20-21

And Eli would bless Elkanah and his wife, and say, “The Lord give you descendants from this woman for the loan that was given to the Lord.” Then they would go to their own home. And the Lord visited Hannah, so that she conceived and bore three sons and two daughters. Meanwhile the child Samuel grew before the Lord.

Note: Samuel is the picture of the last day overcomers who minister prior to the coming of the kingdom of the earth. Prayer is a mystery. In Psalm 115:16 it says that “The heavens belong to the Lord. But the earth He has given to the sons of men”.

Read Ezekiel 22: 1-31 – this is an intercessory prayer.

Colossians 1:28

Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.

Apostolic Burden: Read Galatians 4:19. To carry a prayer burden is to travail again until Christ is formed in you.

Ephesians 4:13

till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ;

Ephesians 2: 19-22

Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

Note: Dreams and visions are the language of the Holy Spirit. God is committed to giving us progressive, ongoing revelation of who He is and His plan for our life. In Job 33:14-15 it says that “For God speaks again and again, though people do not recognize it. He speaks in dreams, in visions of the night, when deep sleep falls on people as they lie in their beds”.

Now I will share with you a dream that I had on June 29th, 2021, and the biblical interpretation of it as follows:

DREAM

In the dream I was in a family reunion at a house and a man appeared whom was an angel of the Lord and I asked, “Why are you here?” and he said, “because I had to come and tell you that the terrible day is coming”. And then in the dream I went to anoint all the gated entrances of my neighborhood and prayed with my family by telling them what’s going on and praying for all of them to accept Jesus. In the next section of the dream, I fought with my brother, and he cut the skin of my left arm (there were 3 scratches or cuts in that arm). After he cut me, I started punching him and my mother stopped us. Then I got depressed and did not want to go to the family reunion, but I still went regardless of if it was late already.

INTERPRETATION

  • Cuts: How many stripes did Jesus receive?… (39)! Whatever suffering we might receive, it will never compare to His!

The terrible day is joined in scripture to “The Day of the Lord” which refers to Matthew 24:21. That’s the great tribulation. The great and terrible day of the Lord is rapidly approaching. Most of the world has no idea. Most of the church is asleep. We are not yet in the great tribulation but it will be upon us very quickly. It’s time to live 100% surrendered to Jesus. I fought with my brother which represents the “religious” family (The church that is blind & in stupor).

Zephaniah 1:14-18

“That terrible day of the LORD is near. Swiftly it comes— a day of bitter tears, a day when even strong men will cry out.

Joel 2:31

The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible day of the Lord come.

Malachi 4:5

“See, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before that great and dreadful day of the LORD comes.
