The Monster Of Lust
Command: “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7)
‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. (As a single man or woman, if you lust after someone, its still adultery, as your First Love is supposed to be Jesus).
- “To ‘lust’ after someone means that adultery has already taken place in your heart”. So, lust is bad. Let’s ask the obvious question. Can you masturbate without lusting? No.
Jesus continues in Matthew 5:29-30:
“If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.”
- Eye- Masturbation requires images or at least pictures in your mind. Those images get there through the eyes.
- Hand- It takes a hand to masturbate.
Note: You cannot feed lust and get away from it, as it always comes back as a bigger monster. If you feed a monster, you will have a secret sex addiction and you will know the consequences of it after you get married.
If you become married, masturbation can replace your physical relationship (not feeling connected) with the spouse long term and/or you will have an inability to be alone for a time when the spouse is unavailable, which can lead to other evil thoughts and sins.
This happens when the single man or woman never took care of his or her inner struggle…James 1:14 “but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed”.
- Lust is not something we SOLVE by having another person or a momentary Release…its an inner issue that one has to be delivered of before it gets worse..
ames 1:13
“When tempted no one should say, God is tempting me. For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He tempt anyone”.
Note: This is an inner process that God does not Provoque. Satan asks God for permission to take things away like what happened to Job…but God never sends evil as a temptation. Evil comes from inside the heart and from the FLESH.
If its a sexual temptation that is uncontrollable…then it can be a demon of lust that was opened the door to in your childhood or teenage experiences. Ask yourselves… when did it start?
Matthew 15:19
“For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander”.
Collosians 3:5-6
Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of these, the wrath of God is coming.
- Lust is idolatry because your First Love is supposed to be Jesus. So we cannot adulterate our relationship with Jesus.
- Why do we keep having a monster underneath? Because we still havent resisted unto the blood of Jesus and we keep feeding the monster within.
Hebrews 12:4
Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
NIV
In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.
James 4:7
Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Note: James never said “feed the monster”. When he is indicating “resist the devil”, he is actually saying “dont feed the monster of sin or lust”. The only way to resist, is to submit completely to God. And the only way to be delivered from a monster is through fasting.
“He Will FLEE From You”- This is a promise. Is not a “men” issue (one cannot use that as an excuse). Its a “Lust” issue that can happen with both, men and women. If it were a “men”issue, then all babies would have been born already knowing how to masturbate (evil is taught). This bible verse means that the monster is not supposed to flair up again. If it does, we havent put to death those desires.
Matthew 17:21
But this Kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.
Note: Only a life of prayer and fasting will not feed the monster and the monster will not grow. A fully committed life to Christ makes the monster flee completely.
That is why there are people, like myself and many others, that have understood this and fully committed to Christ and do not have episodes of lust anymore. NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR GOD.
“Let God take Control.. NOT YOU”.
