Take Away Bitterness & Sorrow
Psalm 139:16
“Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be”.
Note:
All of your days were written in a book in Heaven. We have to decide if we are living our lives with sorrow or with joy. As God promises Joy and the “Joy of the Lord is our strength”.
A Blessing Of Sorrow:
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted”. (Matthew 5:4).
A Removal Of Sorrow:
“You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. Lord my God, I will praise you forever” (Psalm 30:11).
A Weariness Of Sorrow:
My soul is weary with sorrow; strengthen me according to your word” (Psalm 119:28).
A Godly Sorrow:
“Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death. (2 Corinthians 7:10).
No Sorrow In Heaven:
4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’[a] or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” (Revelation 21:4)
Oil Of Joy Instead of Mourning Promise:
To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the LORD has planted for his own glory. (Isaiah 61:3)
